Marc Quinn Prepares Two Runners For Port Meeting On Tuesday

Apr 21, 2014

The Port Macquarie Racing Club will support a seven race card on Tuesday, 22nd of April with around 82 acceptances for the race meeting to be held in fine weather conditions with the track graded a good three.

The first of the Marc Quinn runners will take part in race 1, in a three-year-old maiden handicap over 1200m with Stradance to be ridden by Andrew Adkins jumping from an awkward wide gate.

Stradance will be second up this preparation after running a nice third of 14 at a recent Taree meeting over 1250m run on a slow 6

Marc has made a gear adjustment for Tuesday's assignment, by removing the Winkers.

The second runner for the Quinn yard will turn out in race five in a benchmark 60 handicap over 1500m with Cracker Night, second up this preparation to be ridden by Taylor Marshall jumping from barrier five in a field of nine with Taylor claiming 2kg off the 57kg allotted.

Cracker Night is a four-year-old gelding that was put away after a win early January, and reappeared first time up this preparation at a Taree race meeting held on the 5th of April, where he ran fourth of 14 after travelling out the back of the field in the early stages, finishing just over 0.5 lengths from the winners.

The Marc Quinn team would like to wish connections every success with their runners at Port Macquarie on Tuesday.
