The Marc Quinn Yard Heads To Taree Saturday With Two Runners

Apr 04, 2014

The Marc Quinn racing team has accepted with two runners at the Taree race club meeting on Saturday, 5 April where the weather is fine and the track reading a Dead 4.

The first runner for the Quinn Yard will come in race 4 in a maiden plate over 1250 m with Stradance jumping from barrier 4 with Andrew Adkins claiming off the 56.5 kilograms.

Stradance returns to racing after a last start at Taree on the 10th of December, saw the three-year-old filly finish midfield in a 1300 meter event, she has been put away for a spell and returns for this race with a change of gear with the blinkers off first time and the winkers on again.

The second runner for the Marc Quinn stable will be in race six on the card in a class 2 handicap over 1200 m with the handy Cracker Night returning to competitive racing and will be ridden by Daniel Holten claiming off the 58 kg jumping from barrier 10.

Cracker Night's recent outings have been profitable for connections as the handy four-year-old Bay gelding always tries his best, he was last time seen out in a Taree meeting on January 3rd, when the gelding took out a 1614m event by 3/4 of a length finishing first of 12.

Cracker Night has placed over the distance prior to this run and is a lover of the Taree track, having visited the place on four racing occasions for one win, two seconds, and a third.

Best of luck to all connections with the runners at the Taree meeting on Saturday.
