Stradance Returns With A Third At Taree

Apr 10, 2014

Marc Quinn saddled up three-year-old Bay filly, Stradance in a recent Taree meeting held on an overcast day with the track graded a slow six for the program.

Stradance was returning from a spell, and Marc inlisted the services of Andrew Adkins for this outing claiming off the 56.5kg.

Stradance pinged the barrier to land in front and On settling the filly was the lamplighter striding to the lead to control terms from the barrier and dictate the pace to be 2 lengths clear coming to the turn.

Coming into the straight, Stradance fanned to the centre of the track, with challenges apparent.

Below the hundred Blue Phantom had loomed up to secure the lead and stroll away with the victory in the 1250m Maiden, with Danger Mark securing second position, with Stradance finishing three lengths back in third position.

it was a nice return to the races for the filly and Marc will see how she pulls up as to which direction to head next.
