Falklands And Towkash Looking At Scone Meeting Friday

The Marc Quinn yard will send Towcash & Falklands as  likely representatives, on Friday August 29th, to the Scone meeting, with overcast weather at this stage displaying a Slow track.

The first of the stable runners will come out in race one in a combined class one maiden handicap over 1600m,  with Towkash to be ridden by Alan Chau, jumping from barrier five in a field of 14.

Towkash is five your old gelding at start number 10, having picked up one career win, with recent outings being at Port on July 19 over 1212m, finishing ninth of 11 on that occasion when written by Sam Clenton and was last seen at the same venue over 1500 m finishing 12th of 13, 10.2 lengths off the winner on that occasion when ridden by Alan Chau.

The Second stable runner, will take part in a BM 70 Hcp with Sam Clenton aboard jumping from barrier 5 in a field of 10.

Falklands is a six-year-old Brown gelding having start number 34 with five x wins and 13 x placings bringing prize-money to an excess of $200,000, he is prepared for this outing via a trial at Port on July 19 finishing fourth of seven over thousand metres, then again at the same venue in a trial heat finishing second of 8 over 1000 m, 3.5 lengths off the winner.

Last time out he contested a 1400 meter event in a benchmark 70 handicap, finishing at the tail of the field 6.2 lengths off the winner on August 9.
