First Class To Rio Run's 2nd At Taree

The Marc Quinn racing team supplied one runner in the form of First Class To Rio ridden by Andrew Adkins, in the Taree Wingham racing club meeting held on Tuesday, August 12 with fine weather conditions supplying a track rating of a good three.
Leaving the gates Adkins was positive with his runner to be out in the first four, relaxing back on settling behind race leader Murphy's Coal Dust with Forward March out deep in second, Isabelle Rose was third Lukey tucked in on the plastic with First Class To Rio 2 lengths adrift.
Coming to the swing Murphy's Coal Dust was out by a length Isabelle Rose was still prominent Lukey was coming off heals to make a run and First Class To Rio was settling in for the fight.
Coming to the line Lukey had kicked well clear to take out the event by just under 2.5 lengths, with a game First Class To Rio holding off the challenges of Murphy's Coal Dust and Beg Pardon finishing third and fourth respectively.
