Stable Runners For Dubbo Sunday

Marc Quinn will supply two runner to the Dubbo race meeting to be held on Sunday, September 14 with fine conditions shining upon a good three rated track, the rail is in the true position.
The first of the stable runners will come out in race three at 2:20 PM in the Pastoral Hotel class two handicap over 1100 m with top weight First Class To Rio 4th up from a spell jumping from barrier 12 in a field of 14 with Sam Clenton aboard.
First Class To Rio is a five-year-old Bay mare having start number eight with prize-money of $26,000 banked from one win & four placings, recent outings have both been at Taree finishing second of 10 over 1265 m in a class one, followed up by a run on August 24 finishing third of 10 on a heavy 8 over 1250 m on both occasions she was ridden by Andrew Adkins starting favorite in both runs.
The second stable runner will come out in race seven in the feature 93.5 Star FM Dubbo Gold Cup over 1600 m with seasoned galloper,Falklands 3rd up from a spell with Sam Clenton aboard jumping from barrier eight in a field of 11.
Falklands is a six-year-old Brown gelding having raced on 34 occasions with five wins and 13 placings earning prize-money in excess of $202,000 recent runs have been at Newcastle on August 9 over 1400 finishing at the tail of the field 6.2 lengths off the winner and was last seen improving at Scone over the 1600m distance in a benchmark 70 with Sam Clenton aboard finishing fourth of 8, 5.9 lengths off the winner in a time of 1:42.82 for the mile.
