Marc Quinn supplied two runners for the Port Macquarie race club meeting in race six on the card with First Class To Rio wearing saddle cloth 5, ridden by Andrew Adkins and Cracker Night wearing saddle cloth 2 with Alan Chau aboard taking part in a benchmark 60 handicap over 1206m.

Leaving the gates First Class To Rio was in a forward position as Cracker Night elected to settle back worse than midfield Seventh Bullet led them out past the thousand with Vision Retract second Orotund was third and First Class To Rio was outside of that runner in fourth position.

Coming to the final 400m Adkins asked for an effort with First Class To Rio responding by gathering in the early leaders with Chau still back on Cracker Night electing to come off heals for the charge to the line.

On straightening First Class To Rio came down the centre of the track and  gathered in Vision Retract to clear out to the line by half a length to the latter with First Class To Rio's stable mate Cracker Night out late to land third in a great result for the Marc Quinn prepared duo.
