Marc Stays Local With Two Runners Eyeing The Prize

Marc Quinn will supply two runners to the local Port race meeting on Monday, October 27 with fine conditions forecast racing on a dead 4.
The first of the stable runners Cracker Night will come out in race 4 at 3:27 PM in a BM 60 handicap over 1506 m with Alan Chau aboard jumping from barrier eight with a field of 9 to contest for the prize.
Cracker Night is a five-year-old Bay gelding having faced the starter on 18 occasions for three wins and seven placing earning prize-money in excess of $45,000, he has contested nine times at the track for two wins and two placing's and is prepared for this via a recent race at Port over 1206 m finishing third of 11 finishing 1.3 lengths behind the winner on that occasion being stable-mate First Class To Rio.
Cracker Night was last seen competing again at home over 1500 m on October 10 finishing midfield fifth of 10 1.2 lengths off the winner ridden by Alan Chau in a time of 1:31.89 with the last 600m in 36.35.

Stradance is a four-year-old Bay mare having faced the starter on nine occasions with two wins and four placing's earning prize-money in excess of $32,000 she has contested at the Port track on three occasions for one win and two placing's.
Stradance is prepared for this outing via a barrier trial at home on September 28 finishing second of seven over 1006 m landing 2.3 lengths behind the winner of that heat and was last seen at Port on October 11 finishing second of 14 with Adkins aboard going down by a neck in a race time of 1:12.73.
