Falklands Makes The Trip To The Gold Coast On Saturday

The Gold Coast turf club meeting on Saturday, November 1 will entertain one Marc Quinn runner in the form of Falklands coming out in race two with fine conditions forecast racing on a good three at this stage.


Falklands will enter in race two at 12:45 PM in a BM handicap over 2200m, with Chris Whiteley aboard jumping from barrier six in a small field of seven.


Falklands has enjoyed a very honest career racing on 37 occasions for five wins and 13 placings earning prize-money in excess of $200,000, his most recent outing was in the Port Mac Cup,  over 2000m when ridden by Raymond Spokes finishing 4.6 lengths eight of 12 in a race time of 2:02.49 with the last 600m in 36.04.


Marc has adjusted the gear for the six-year-old by removing the blinkers and replacing with Winkers. Best of luck to all connected on Saturday at the Gold Coast.
