Port To Host 3 Marc Quinn Runners On Friday

The Marc Quinn racing stables will stay local at Port Macquarie on Friday, November 14 with fine conditions forecast racing on a good three.

The first of the stable runners will come out in race two at 1:37pm in a F & M maiden handicap over 1106 m, with Zinging first up from a spell jumping from an awkward gate in a field of 12 to be ridden by Andrew Adkins.

Zinging will saddle up for career start number three, the best of which at Port on June 27 finishing midfield six of 12 in a maiden when ridden by Adkins, finishing 6.3 lengths from the winner and was last seen finishing ninth of 12 at Taree on July 14 over 1257 m when ridden by Andrew finishing 6.6 lengths off the winner in a race time of 1:16.13.

Marc has added blinkers to the three-year-old chestnut Fillies attire for this outing.

The second of the stable runners Towkash will come out in race five at 3:22 PM in the one steel class one and maiden plate over 2012 m to be ridden by Alan Chau, jumping from barrier 11 in a field of 12.

Towkash is a five-year-old gelding having start number 15 with one win and two placings earning $10,000 in prize-money, and was most recently seen running at Port over 2000 m finishing second of 13 with Alan aboard, and was last seen at Lismore finishing sixth of 11 over 2100 m on October 20 finishing 6.7 lengths from the winner in a race time of 2:11.78 with the last 600m in 38.10.

The last of the stable runners Thiltre returns from a spell in race eight at 5:20 PM in the tiles with style BM 50 handicap over 1206 m with Andrew Adkins aboard jumping from barrier two in a field of 12.

Thiltre is a three-year-old chestnut Filly having start number seven with one win and one placing recording prize-money in excess of $18,000, last preparation she broke a maiden status at Grafton on June 14 over 1220 m when ridden by Andrew Adkins, finishing first of 12 by a small margin in a race time of 1:12.36 and was most recently seen racing at Port on July 19 finishing six of 10 over 1512 m in a BM 50 when ridden by Samantha Clenton finishing 4.4 lengths off the winner in a race time of 1:32.81.
