Nov 14, 2014

The first of the Marc Quinn runners on the Port Macquarie race card meeting on Friday, the 14th of November saw Zinging first up from a spell jumping from an awkward wide alley with Andrew Adkins aboard competing against a field of 12.

As a red lights flashed upon the barriers it was Zinging from the deep out positively ridden by Adkins to cross runners past the 800m to the rail with Snitzel's Lass second, Tears In Heaven was in third with Nerio in fourth passing the 600m with a fair margin spacing the runners from top to toe.

Coming to the turn Zinging was out by half a length to Snitzel's Lass in second Tears In Heaven was preparing for an assault down the middle of the track Nerio was tucked in on the rail underneath the supported runner as the field straightened for the judge.

Passing the two hundred the supported Tears In Heaven (15-1into 5-1) eyeballed the Marc Quinn galloper Zinging (20-1) and in the final stages gained the upper hand to score on the line to Zinging whom stuck on defiantly to represent a nice preparation lies ahead for connections.
