Quinn Stays Local With Banknote Beau, & Cultural In Queen Of The Turf

Marc Quinn will supply two runners to the Port race club meeting on Friday, February 12, with fine conditions forecast with the rail in the true position racing on a good 4,

The first of the stable runners will come out in race three in a maiden handicap over 1100 m with Banknote Beau to be ridden by Andrew Adkins jumping from barrier one in a field of 14.

Banknote Beau has raced competitively on two occasions, with the first being at this venue on January 1 finishing third of 7 over 1106m, when ridden by Andrew Adkins finishing two and half lengths behind the winner & was last seen  at Grafton on February 2 finishing third of 14 with Adkins aboard completing the run 2.8 lengths off the winner in a race time of 58.17 for the 1002m, racing on a soft five.

The next stable runner will come out in race seven in the Arrowfield Queen of the North F and M benchmark 75 handicap over 1200 m with Cultural to be ridden by Andrew Adkins first up from a spell jumping from an awkward 17 gate in a field of 14.

Cultural is a five-year-old Bay mare having start number 18 with four wins and six placings earning prize-money in excess of $66,000, she was last seen at Newcastle on December 6 finishing eight of 11 with Kassie Furneds aboard.
