Stable Runners For Port On Friday

Marc Quinn has accepted with three runners to the local port Macquarie race club meeting on Friday, March 27 with fine conditions forecast racing on a soft seven the rail is in the true position.

The first of the stable runners will Ultimate Miss silk up for the first time in a two year old country plate over 1100 m with Andrew Adkins aboard jumping from barrier 4 in a field of eight.

Ultimate Miss is a two-year-old Bay Filly having trialled on three occasions with the most recent outing at Taree on March 17 finishing eighth of 10 over a thousand metres on a soft six with Andrew Adkins aboard arriving 21.9 lengths behind the winner in a time of 59.72.

The second of the stable runners Pure Hype will come out in a maiden plate over 1200 m with Matthew Bennett in charge jumping from barrier nine in a field of nine.

Pure Hype is a four-year-old chestnut gelding having start number two with his only outing being that Armidale on March 1 finishing  8 of 10 over 1100 m with Andrew Adkins aboard landing 13.5 lengths behind the winner in a time of 1:04.58, he then went to trial at Taree on March 17 finishing second of 10 over a thousand metres with Matthew Bennett in charge arriving 9.3 lengths behind the heat winner. Marc has added Winkers for this outing.

The final stable runner will see Thiltre come out in race eight in a BM 55 handicap over 1200 m with Andrew Adkins in charge.

Thiltre is a three-year-old chestnut Filly having start number 12 with one win and 2 placings earning prize-money in excess of $20,000, recent efforts have been at Grafton on February 2 finishing midfield six of 12 with Cassandra Schmidt aboard landing 2.7 lengths behind the prize, and was last seen at Port on March 6 finish 13th of 14 over a thousand metres with Allan Chau the pilot arriving 7.7 lengths behind the winner on that occasion.
